8th Grader Finishes Top 3 at State FCCLA Conference
Corner Middle School 8th Grade student, Ella Holt, competed last week in Montgomery at the Alabama Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Conference finishing in third place in the statewide conference for students.

CMS Baseball Competes in Rickwood Field Experience
The Corner Middle School Yellow Jacket Baseball Team spent a glorious and beautiful day competing at the oldest baseball field in America . . . Rickwood Field. The team and their families not only enjoyed the competition of the day, but also being able to tour the park itself, go through the Rickwood Field Museum, and enjoy local cuisine.

CMS Qualifies for VEX Robotics World Championship
"The Mighty Ducks" - Eli Kizziah, Will Tingle, Jett Perkins, Larky Norris, and Logan McAdams finished in 5th place overall at the Alabama State VEX IQ Robotics Championship held at? Auburn University. The team qualified to travel to Dallas, Texas in May to compete in the VEX IQ World Championship. Congratulations to The Mighty Ducks!

The softball team defeated Sumiton Middle School, Brookwood, and West Blocton to win the McAdory Round Robin Tournament. Congratulations, girls!
